Orange County Family Therapist Stacey Trueblood Paulhus

Hello! I’m Stacey Trueblood Paulhus, AMFT, and I am an associate therapist at Restored Pathways Family Counseling Collective.

I enjoy working with children, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, difficult emotions, and life transitions. Whether you’re a parent looking for support for your child, a couple hoping to strengthen your relationship, or an individual feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward, I am here to offer a warm, compassionate, and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

Maybe you’ve been holding it all together for everyone else while quietly feeling anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. You may find yourself overthinking decisions, questioning your relationships, or feeling stuck in patterns you don’t know how to change. Perhaps you’re navigating a major life transition, struggling to set boundaries, or simply feeling that something in your life needs to be different. You don’t have to have all the answers or wait until things feel unbearable to seek support. Therapy can be a place to slow down, explore what you’re experiencing, and begin making meaningful changes at your own pace.

I offer play therapy for children, individual therapy for adults, and couples counseling. When working with children, I use play as a way to help them express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills in a comfortable and supportive environment. For couples, I provide a safe space to explore relationship challenges, improve communication, and strengthen emotional connection. When working with individuals, I offer compassionate support as we navigate difficult emotions, build self-awareness, and explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in curiosity. I believe that therapy is not about having someone tell you what to do, but rather having a supportive space to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you are facing. Together, we will explore your unique experiences and goals while developing practical tools to help you build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-trust.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your relationship, you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to help you feel supported and empowered as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

If something in you is saying, “I’m ready for things to feel different,” I would be honored to walk alongside you. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to learn more about your needs, answer your questions, and explore whether we would be a good fit. Please reach out by phone or email to schedule your consultation or first appointment.
